A large group of runners gathered at the starting line of a city marathon event. The foreground shows a person wearing a purple and white athletic shirt with a hydration vest featuring neon green accents. Other participants around are dressed in various athletic gear, including tank tops and race bibs. In the background, tall modern buildings, traffic lights, and a red inflatable race marker are visible, indicating an urban setting.

I am running in honor of my mom, who is currently battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).  I am here to help raise funds for all those battling blood cancers, so we can eventually have a world that is blood cancer-free. They are doing all the hard work, I'm just running some miles.
