Young Adults: Life After a Cancer Diagnosis- What Did I Expect?

Program Details

Young adults, ages 18-38, who are in or beyond treatment are invited to join us to chat about life after a cancer diagnosis and expecting the unexpected! Professionals from the region’s leading AYA cancer support organizations will launch the conversation and share resources. Connect with other young adults for conversations around:

  • I am not the same person I was before cancer.
  • What does “normal” look like now?
  • Friends and family don't really understand.
  • Why do I feel lonely?
  • Is my life now defined by cancer?

Following the program, it’s time for a Mexican dinner buffet, mocktail mixing with a professional bartender, and a group trivia night! Yes, there will be prizes for the winning team! Bring questions and be part of an engaging , supportive discussion with other young adult cancer patients and survivors.
