Navigating Health Insurance & Access to Care

Join us for a free, in-person education program for the blood cancer community. Registration is required.

About the program

There are three main ways to get health insurance: through an employer, by buying a policy directly from an insurance company, or through a governmental plan (i.e., Medicare, Medicaid, etc.). Regardless of how you get your health insurance, you may have choices. Open enrollment comes up once a year and allows you to make changes to your coverage or to pick a new plan. In this free education program, we will cover types of insurance, things to look for in a policy, and how to navigate the Health Insurance Marketplace and Medicaid, all to help prepare you for this year’s open enrollment and manage insurance before, during, and after blood cancer diagnosis.

Complimentary dinner provided. We hope you will join us!
