Cancer Survivorship: Managing Uncertainty

Program details
Blood cancer patients, caregivers, and family members are invited to attend this free education program and dinner on navigating the challenges of survivorship.

Join the conversation about fear of cancer recurrence or progression, a common and challenging psychological hurdle for many blood cancer survivors.

We will explore questions such as:

  • Shouldn’t I feel relieved following my cancer treatment?
  • When can I return to the life I had before cancer?
  • Why do I feel so lonely?
  • How do I manage my anxiety with each scan?

Dr. Julia Rowland will discuss these issues and strategies for managing emotional hurdles. We will also share information about Blood Cancer United resources to support patient survivors. We look forward to seeing you!
