On December 30, 2019, we found out my 3-year-old granddaughter, Maklynn has cancer! It is one in 10,000 children that gets this and even less on both kidneys! The medical term for it is neuroblastoma.

I said, this is rare, but so is she! This smart, energetic little girl's life is now changing forever, along with her entire family! She will have constant chemo, which means, most times no work for her mom and people in her family.

It's expensive to live and give your child the constant care required. Love and support has DEFINITELY been on her side , but most of all prayer.

She is now on her second round of chemo, to see if her tumors will shrink even more and all of the nodules in her lung disappear. She needs to have one healthy kidney, so as to not have to go through dialysis or years and years further of chemo or radiation.

As I stated, she is the strongest little person that I know. She encourages us daily and gives US the strength to help her! She is MY SUPERHERO and my UNICORN! (She LOVES unicorns!)
