Christopher is
Blood Cancer United

Christopher was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) on July 9, 2012 when he was 10 years old. After feeling tired and experiencing bone pain and headaches for three weeks, he went to the doctor. A requested blood test revealed leukemia cells.

Christopher immediately began intense chemotherapy treatment at Children's Hospital Central California. He was not able to attend his last year of elementary school. A month into Christopher's treatment he suffered an adverse reaction to one of the chemotherapy medications and got a blood clot in his brain, which caused seizures. As a result, he takes daily injections along with his other medications. Christopher went into remission a month into his treatment and has remained cancer free since.

Christopher is doing well and will continue monthly IV treatment as well as daily medications until October 2015. He is happy to be getting back into sports and was able to go back to school for seventh grade. He has started playing his favorite sport, soccer, with this twin brother Alex. He is feeling great!
