Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)

Eryn

Eryn

Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) survivor

I was diagnosed at 2 years old with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and went into remission when I was 5. I spent two years at Wilford Hall, where I was born.

I'm currently a 15-year-old sophomore in high school and feeling better than ever!

Lyra

Lyra

ALL Survivor

Lyra is a confident three-year-old who spreads joy wherever she goes! She loves to sing, dance, draw, snuggle while reading stories and is rarely seen in anything but a princess dress. If you happen to pass Lyra at the store, she will most certainly ask you your name and probably tell you all about her favorite my little pony or what she ate for breakfast.

Ryan

Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) survivor

I am a 12 year survivor of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and was heavily involved with LLS when I was a patient going through treatment. I was a part of the Honored Hero program during elementary and middle school and would go speak and tell my story to schools in the Cincinnati tri-state area with my mother.

Charlie

Charlie

ALL Survivor

At two and a half years old, Charlie was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

Soon after being diagnosed, she underwent surgery to insert a port-a-cath so she could receive chemotherapy treatments and make route blood work easier on her. Chemotherapy treatments were extremely hard on her little body and she refused to walk. She had neuropathy from the treatments.

In Memory

This picture is of my brother and my son. Both fought valiantly from acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and Hodgkin's lymphoma respectively.

ALL Survivor

I was declared to be in remission from acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) on Sept 1, 2015. To celebrate one year of remission, I biked from Waukesha, WI to Port Washington, WI, a total of 104 miles round trip.

Jesse

Jesse

Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) survivor

My name is Jesse Jordan. I'm a 37-year cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) when I was 17 months old. Cancer has been one of the defining moments of my life and it helps me keep the right perspective towards life. The moment I take life for granted, cancer reminds me of how precious life is and how blessed I am to be here.

Esther

Esther

Myeloma/ALL Survivor

In November 2011, I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma and received a stem cell transplant in April 2012. After recovery, I continued medical care with my local oncologist.

Ira

Ira

ALL Patient

In August 2014, at age 48, I was literally in the best shape of my life. I was an avid cyclist, averaging more than 150 miles per week, leading groups of riders for my cycling club, and completing multiple 100-mile century rides in a single season. Over the course of just a few days, while cycling, I noticed a sudden setback in my performance.
