Graysen
Heather
Graysen was born in March 2017. She was born the day before my birthday and we often say that she was the greatest birthday present ever. She was such an easy-going baby - happy, curious, and sweet with a magnetic personality. She was seemingly healthy, happy and 21 months old when we shockingly learned she had leukemia in November 2018.

Before his diagnosis, Kabir also enjoyed swimming and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Mia
Mia
As Mia started her third grade year at elementary school she began complaining of pain in her legs. At first, her mom just thought it was normal growing pains. But then Mia started sleeping a lot more, lost her appetite and just didn’t have her normal level of energy. Mia’s parents, Alma and Ernesto, decided it was time to take her to the doctor.
Louise
Louise
During the last week of July 2019, Louise, then-two-and-a-half-year-old, developed unusual red dots on her chest and some gnarly, yet explainable, bruises all over her body. We chalked the rash up to wearing an unwashed shirt and the bruises to being an extremely active two-year-old.
Julian
Julian
On October 9, 2017, 8-year-old Julian suddenly became ill with a fever and headache. We gave him some over the counter medicine and made an appointment with his pediatrician. By the time he was in the doctor’s office the next morning, Julian had worsened and his doctor immediately ordered labs.
