Katelin (KiNG)

CML Patient

In April 2017, Katelin, also known as KiNG, went to see a doctor for persistent severe headaches and dizziness. A blood test revealed that she had phase III chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). For someone Katelin’s age, a normal white blood cell count is between 5,000 to 10,000 — Katelin’s was 660,000.

Eryn

Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) survivor

I was diagnosed at 2 years old with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and went into remission when I was 5. I spent two years at Wilford Hall, where I was born.

I'm currently a 15-year-old sophomore in high school and feeling better than ever!

Lyra

Lyra

ALL Survivor

Lyra is a confident three-year-old who spreads joy wherever she goes! She loves to sing, dance, draw, snuggle while reading stories and is rarely seen in anything but a princess dress. If you happen to pass Lyra at the store, she will most certainly ask you your name and probably tell you all about her favorite my little pony or what she ate for breakfast.

Erica

Erica

Leukemia survivor

As you can see, she's the beauty in the grey sweatshirt, mi amor. My daughter Erica survived leukemia, she was diagnosed when she was only two years old.

I'm the blessed momma that gets to celebrate this amazing woman of courage, who is now 28 years old!

Charlie

Charlie

ALL Survivor

At two and a half years old, Charlie was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

Soon after being diagnosed, she underwent surgery to insert a port-a-cath so she could receive chemotherapy treatments and make route blood work easier on her. Chemotherapy treatments were extremely hard on her little body and she refused to walk. She had neuropathy from the treatments.
