Special Thanks

The Blood Cancer United Eastern PA-DE Region extends a special thank you to John & Jeanne Hubbard for their legacy commitment to establish The Bobby Zahurak Pediatric AML Research and Patient Support Fund, in honor of Bobby Zahurak. Bobby was diagnosed with AML in the summer of 2018, and after his 18-month hard-fought battle with leukemia, Bobby passed away in January 2020 at the age of 27. Bobby will be remembered for his loyalty to family and friends, free spirit, generous nature, positive outlook, and heartwarming smile. 

The Fund will support pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and the Blood Cancer United Pediatric Urgent Need Program.
