Funding research to one day achieve a world without blood cancers.
Blood Cancer United has invested more than $1.8 billion in blood cancer presearch projects. But curing cancer will take all of us. Whether through federal dollars, state funds or other investments, we know every dollar brings us closer to a cure.
To support this work, Blood Cancer United advocates for robust public funding of research, including investments for:
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Cancer Institute (NCI) to advance efforts to improve cancer detection, diagnosis, and survivorship
- The Department of Defense’s Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program’s (CDMRP) Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program (PRCRP), which provides important resources for innovative blood cancer research to support U.S. Service members, their families, and the public
- State funds in Texas and California to bolster other efforts
