Meredith Fogel

Meredith Fogel is a distinguished legal leader with a robust background in corporate and employment law, having served in many in-house roles throughout her career. During her tenure, Fogel has been instrumental in providing strategic legal counsel that aligns with the organization’s business goals and ensures compliance. Her ability to navigate complex legal challenges and deliver practical solutions has significantly advanced the organization’s mission and operational success. As a member of the executive leadership team (ELT), Fogel is dedicated to fostering collaboration, transparency, and legal integrity.

In her role as chief legal officer and general counsel, Fogel leads and supervises the legal team, offers strategic guidance to the ELT and board of directors, and represents the organization in key transactions. She is committed to supporting Blood Cancer United’s strategic goals while managing risk and upholding the highest ethical standards. Prior to joining the organization, Fogel practiced employment law at two prominent law firms in New York City and then served as vice president and associate general counsel at the Hudson’s Bay Company for twelve years, where she provided legal advice to the leadership team on business transactions, contract negotiations, and litigation matters. Fogel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
