Pivekimab sunirine-pvzy is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN).
Side effects needing medical attention
The most common adverse reactions were swelling caused by excess fluid trapped in the body’s tissues, fatigue, musculoskeletal pain, hemorrhage, infusion-related reactions, nausea, and diarrhea. The most common Grade 3 or 4 lab abnormalities were neutrophils decreased, platelets decreased, lymphocyte count decreased, white blood cells decreased, hemoglobin decreased, and glucose increased.
