Samuel is
Blood Cancer United

This is in memory of our "Papa" Samuel Lee Garcia, Jr. Sam was a unique kind of soul. He always did for others before himself. He was so giving and kind, the most genuine type of person. And although he is resting now, I believe it was his time to go.

Our family will always remember July 17, 2015 when we were told our beloved Papa had AML. The chemo was immediate --10 days straight. He went into remission a few days later. August came, and the cancer was back. The last week of August we were told there was nothing more they could do. Papa passed away August 27, 2015. In six short weeks, our world came crumbling down.

Papa was such a loving person and we will never forget the life he lived. He will always be in our hearts, as the memories we share will always be remembered. Rest in eternal peace Papa, we love you.
