Roschelle is
Blood Cancer United

May 16, 2025, changed my life as I was diagnosed with small diffused B-cell lymphoma (MALT). Imagine being on the last leg of vacation only to receive a call that would change your life. That’s what happened to me. It’s a good thing it was caught early. I had a dental procedure that resulted in some issues, and my primary care doctor sent me for testing. I can say that I was devastated to hear the word lymphoma. I never thought it would happen to me. I have always shown support for my family and friends, but now they are showing support for me. I usually walk Blood Cancer United’s Light The Night walk to show support for a dear friend, but this year the walk will have a different meaning. This year, I will be there not only to support my friend but also myself as a patient.
