I’ll turn 75 next year. Also, 2027 will mark 20 years since I was first diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). And, finally, it will be 15 years since I was considered cured, a fact that inspired me to give back by raising money for Blood Cancer United. In 2012, I joined Team In Training (TNT) and walked in my first half marathon. Since joining TNT, I've raised over $50,000, participating in three full marathons and six half marathons. Now, after a four-year hiatus, I've been inspired again by these milestones to raise money one more time for Blood Cancer United. After all, if it weren’t for them, I might not be making it to 75.
