My name is Joy, and I am a victor over stage IV peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL). I have been cancer-free for 20+ years. While I was going through my cancer treatment, I was helped out by Blood Cancer United (formerly LLS). After my treatment, I joined Team In Training (TNT) to celebrate being cancer-free and to give back to this wonderful organization. The team and the coaches were so amazing and supportive. I felt so empowered and grateful that I could do these events, and I could give back. I have recently switched careers to become a Cancer Care Doula so that I can keep supporting others who are on this journey.
