I have received tons of support from Blood Cancer United, including financial assistance and educational workbooks, and I have attended two wonderful conferences where I learned a great deal and met the most lovely people and presenters. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) about one year ago, in March 2025. By September 2025, my chemotherapy treatments ended, and I was officially declared no evidence of disease in October 2025.
Throughout my diagnosis and treatment journey, I just pushed through and thought that once I rang my bell, I'd just move on and go back to my old, healthy pre-diagnosis self. Wow, was I wrong!
Once my treatments ended, I had no idea where to turn, and I was so lucky to discover Blood Cancer United and all of the resources and educational information that they offer. At a time when I was at such a loss of what to do or where to turn, everything that I discovered helped me to process what I had experienced and helped me to begin to navigate the challenges of survivorship. Thank you, Blood Cancer United, for all that you do!
