Blood Cancer United

A blood cancer patient sits in the passenger seat of a car wearing a dark graphic T‑shirt and a baseball cap, with sunlight coming through the window and trees visible outside.

My name is Daniel, and I’m a stage 4 primary B-cell lymphoma (PMBCL) survivor.

I was diagnosed at 22 years old after doctors found a large mediastinal mass behind my heart and lungs, with cancer that had also spread to my femurs and kidneys. It was one of the hardest battles of my life, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But through it all, I kept my faith and courage, believing that I would make it through. Every chemo, every hospital day, I reminded myself that this was only a chapter not the end of my story.

Now, at 23, I’m proud to say I’m in remission. My experience taught me what true strength, faith, and gratitude really mean. I want to share my journey to give others hope to show anyone fighting blood cancer that they are not alone, and that there’s light on the other side of the fight.
