Aryanna
My daughter Aryanna was diagnosed with stage 2 non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) when she was two years old. Her treatment lasted three months, and she is a survivor of five years. As a young mom, I had no idea that this could happen to us. It all started with random nights of vomiting and fever. There were quite a few series of events that led up to her diagnosis.

My pawpaw, Archie, raised me my entire life. He was in the Air Force and stationed in Korea. He didn't have to, but he took me in as his own. And when I was 11, they got legal guardianship of me. My Dad was still in my life because he was raising my little brother, so I saw him often. but he just didn't raise me. Sometime around 2010, my Pawpaw was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL).

I’m 32 years old and I'm from Cincinnati, OH. My wife Shelby and I have been together since December 2012 and have been married since February 22, 2016. We have three amazing sons who keep us busy and playing zone defense daily. Our twins are 5 and our oldest son is 7. Shelby and I had 6 good months together before I got sick and that has been a major piece of our journey to this day.

I was diagnosed with anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) and underwent an autologous bone marrow transplant back in 2015. By the grace of God, I have been cancer-free for seven years. I was inspired to write some poems after my experience. One of them has actually been published. I hope my poems bring hope to the many cancer warriors out there fighting for their lives.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (T-NHL) nearly 20 years ago in March of 2002. By the grace and power of God and modern medicine, I have been cancer-free for the last 20 years!

On August 24, 2017, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma (HL). It turns out, after much back-and-forth and a second cervical excision, that I actually had diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). And for good measure, kidney cancer as well. Why not two primaries, right?
