NHL Survivor

I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) after moving from New Orleans to San Antonio, Texas. What started as a routine visit to an allergist for swelling in my cheeks, eyes, and neck turned into a life-changing moment when a CT scan revealed the unthinkable.

T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LL)

My name is Tricia, and I am a two-time cancer survivor. In 2017, at the age of 27, I got a positive pregnancy test. We were elated! We already had a three-year-old daughter and couldn't wait to expand our family. I made an appointment with my OB-GYN to confirm the pregnancy and get a due date when she found a lump on my thyroid. I was constantly assured it would be nothing.

I graduated in 2021 with an engineering degree and landed a full-time analyst position at a promising startup. My future was brimming with plans, and by 2022, I was gearing up to leave India for the United States — a dream I had nurtured for years.

non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL)

Hi, my name is Felicia. I was diagnosed in 2021 with stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). Unfortunately, my kidneys failed, and now I am on dialysis three days a week. I am now on the list for another kidney. I want to share my story to encourage other people. I also have an artificial leg since I was born.

non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL)

I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 27 with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). I was a healthy 27-year-old who went to college playing golf and lacrosse. We found the tumor right by my heart, which was inoperable, so the chemo had to work. My husband and I moved back to Cincinnati to get treated at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
