Hodgkin Lymphoma (HL)

I am 39 years old. At the age of 34 after having been very sick and misdiagnosed for over a year I was diagnosed at the Cleveland Clinic in May 2016 with Hodgkin's lymphoma.

May of 2017, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma following my 19th birthday. The news of cancer shook my reality as I’d just began establishing my life. I was forced to give up my independence and lean on my community.

Erica was diagnosed with potentially fatal Stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma on March 28, 2013. Her journey to survive her battle with cancer was very trying but after overcoming her obstacles, Erica is very passionate about inspiring people to have the desire to survive any challenges that they may face in their lives.

In 2017 I was first diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma, I had a 6 months treatment and got into remission, after 2 years the doctors told me that I had a relapse and now Im half way in my treatment at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego.

My name is Rylie York, I am 20 years old and I'm currently a sophomore at Baylor University. I'm originally from Round Rock, Texas and I am a patient at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas. I was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma at 18 in the middle of my senior year of high school.

After being diagnosed Hodgkin lymphoma at age 22, my battle with cancer led to a very unexpected journey in my life: becoming an author. I’m very grateful to share that I’ve now been cancer-free for eight years, and my debut fantasy novel, The Memory Thief, was published by HarperCollins in October of 2019.

Hi, my name is Chaneta, I like to go by Juliet. This past year has been an interesting one, to say the least. I’m a singer-songwriter who wrote and released an album in October 2017. I thought the year was going to be an amazing one – promoting and performing – unfortunately, I performed one time and I began to literally unravel. In December 2017, I caught the flu.

My name is Sarah and I am a six-year Hodgkin’s lymphoma survivor. I’m extremely honored to not only be in attendance today but to also share my story. My world came crashing down July 2013. Like so many other patients, I had been diagnosed with frequent upper respiratory infections, asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, and pleurisy prior to my diagnosis.
